    Racers insurance? Does it exist?

He guys, after spending the best part of 3 months off work from shoulder surgury after a moto x get off with a policy that covers me for everything but motor racing, does anyone know of any companys that do cover racers.
I did some searching and found a company called combined insurance? any suggestions?

    cheers, steve

They do a lump sum payout depending on the injury and the level of cover you decide, they cover you while racing and in the two claims I've had they have settled the claims promptly and with no argument

The only drawback is they come around every 6 moths trying to sell you more stuff

    well worth having IMO

I have had Combined insurance for over 15 years and have made several claims over this time , most of my claims have been paid very quickly with low resistance.

    Highly recommend

I still have a Combined Insurance accident policy that my parents took out for me 15 odd years ago.

Since I have started working I have never had to claim but when we did when I was younger there was never an issue with the payout.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

i have had combined for nearly 10 years now, and have been paid out well over $10,000 from them, very good insurance, but they do always try to upsell you every 4 months or so,

acc does cover you for medical expenses, and for loss of income,

combined is a good back up, they have different packages but pay per day you are in hospital, and for broken bones etc,

when combined with ACC you can make pre tty good money in hospital,

Think I read somewhere once that the MNZ license fee or race entry fees or something like that included top up insurance??? What's all that about???

Bugger that, my kids ignore me now and think I'm only good for giving them money, my favorite lament is, "you'll miss me when I'm gone" but if they got 15 grand to play with they wouldn't even do that !!!
