Re lap times/capacity. Again ol son just tossin an idea out there.nothings fixed in stone
Happy to run basicly same groups as a track day if thats what people want.
Again the idea is to get relative to a real race meeting a LOT of track time and a lot of starts.
I even wondered about running a few 2 lap "races"- Out round grid up -flag drop-go--normal start of race argy bargy then in again.

I do wonder about doing a lap time based REAL race meeting too. doesn't matter what the bike is but each class is determined by the lap times.
allow a 5 second max "breakout" to stop burglars going into D grade and winning by a lap
The SOT does good "bracket" races times based on actual lap times from "class" races and prize money (and kudos) higher for the fast (A) bracket etc. The motivation is then to get into the A bracket . I'm not sure exactly how they work out the groupings.

It is very cool, even if like me you end up racing against a bike 30 years older than the one you are riding

This is why Im putting it out there.
Theres a gap between track days and race meetings.
Trouble is currently the only way to experience race starts is to race.
Might prove in the end that it needs to be a real meeting run by a club
with results n all that stuff.
Maybee cheap day licences might be the go.
Then again maybee its a dumb idea and wont work at all.

Heya Crazzed--really apreciate the support dude.
To be honest though I put the ideas out there so people can critique
Most of the criticism is good positive stuff that I hadn't thought of.
