Could be the cost too. Yeah, I know it's not much difference, and there is still the cost of accommodation at Taupo, but most people would only see the 'up front' cost before deciding.

I just spent so much on a near new bike my entertainment money has been confiscated.... by my petrol tank fund. Oh and I just took a $10G paycut in the same week. My entire disposable income for this month wil be going on petrol for a couple of decent runs on the new wheels. I neither seek nor expect your pity, but I am broker than you. I could not afford to go for a ride this weekend.
