Pack/Sport/Top box rack

I managed to get hold of a top box just today from a KBer and it just doesn't quite fit onto my old style Ventura pack rack, as the horizontal is quite short and the vertical very tall.

So I'm after any kind of rack that would fit onto my L-brackets which measure 350mm centre to centre wide, that will fit the top box on it.

I have the Ventura catalogue, so if you just tell me what bike your rack fits then I'll be able to check if it fits mine

Anything considered so just let me know what you've got and we'll sort out the moolah if it fits!

Surely someone's got some kinda pack rack that will fit lying around

Take some accurate measurements and make a drawing. Take it to someone with a welder and steel and get them to make one up. Then get it powder coated and you're done.

+1. The only way to get what you want is to make it. It aint all that hard to do yourself if you have the nous. If not there are plenty of engineering firms out there.

All I'm after is a Ventura (or other) pack rack/Sports rack with the uprights 350mm apart centre to centre.

Just thought somebody may have one out there they aren't using, before I go buy one from a shop!

I've got a sports rack, but it's, umm, somewhere. I think I know where, but I'll have to check

If you can wait till the weekend, I can grab it and measure the uprights for you if you want.

Failing that, it fits an RF900 Ventura rack - you might be able to figure it out.

Wicked thanks for saying! Just checked it up and yeah I think it'll measure wider than mine. But if you could measure the uprights in the weekend just in case yeah that'd be great

K all sorted, I chopped the uprights off my rack so the top box fits perfectly... Now I'll just keep an eye out for another pack rack with the new Ventura style as I wanted to get one sometime anyway
