    Tyres for Ducati ST4?

I'm just curious as to what to try for a back tyre. Close to running out a nice Metzler 180/55 after 5-6000k and at $400 odd a throw, this hobby is getting expensive.

    Any thoughts?

mate try the Continentals, maybe get some Streets, they wear very well.

I base this on me using a Race Attack on the front and a street attack on the rear of my Motard RACING and they where very very good , and the wear was very slight. I have a review here somewhere (under tryes etc) thats what I would be using.
Contact Shaun Harris for a good deal also on them

The Diablo Strada works very well for me. Done 7k on it so far and estimate perhaps another 3k left. Plenty of grip in the wet, one trip we done through Haast Pass and up the West Coast in typical heavy coast rain the tyres felt great and we weren't slow either.

Did try the Michelin Pilot Road 2s and the rear was buggered by 7k. The Strada feels better for me. Will get another Strada when the time comes, only debate is what size (170 or 180) but thats a whole different conversation.

General consensus on ducati.ms is that the Strada works best for our bikes...

Had Pilots on the VTR and trusted them in the wet, dry and wind... wet and windy, windy and dry errr never tried snow or ice... however got a more out them than that 7k more like 10k for the rear and 12 for the front...

I notice that the ST4s came with Pilots as well so I will be use to them however the ST4s is probably heavier than the VTR and may chew through them a bit quicker... so I may look at the Strada as well...
