    Another cool race bike coming

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the start of the 2nd K5 GSXR 600 to be used as track day lease/training bikes.

I will have 2 Complete bikes by the end of June!

They have full OHLINS suspension front and rear, Yoshimura ECU units, race body work, Continental tyres ( ONLY) Yoshi foot peg kits, race pipe Bla da bla bla Basically the same as Sketchyracer is racing now!

They will come with ME, Advise, Guidance etc ( Big mouth) and with the correct Spring rate for you the rider.

THANKS "racerhead" for your good workman ship.

    K5 600s are a great track bike.

Let me know when it's done, and what it'll cost to lease for a trackday Shaun.

Thanks Guys, I see it as the best way to introduce more riders to the sport, in a safe way, with a well set up bike to start with.

I'll be keen to try it out once just to see what a full-on race bike handles like. Will be in late spring or summer mind. Don't want to find out how much the excess is the hard way!

Don't know if there'll be any insurance as it wont be road regestered ! Shaun ?

Be more like you scratch it you fix it or pay to have it done !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Most track bike hirage overseas has insurance but with a stupidly high excess like $3k. I guess the companies arrange special insurance directly because they're not road legal bikes?

Chances are it would be much cheaper to let shaun fix it anyway with the parts and resources he has

Yeah totally. You'd only ever care about a limit if you destroy the bike with a monster crash (unlikely). So a high excess would mean Shaun just fixes it and you pay him in 99% of oopsies.
