Does anyone know of any other learner riders near Waihi?

Did this ride for the first time yesterday. It rained a bit but nothing too bad. There wasn't much traffic, so it was a nice ride. I did it anti clockwise.

harden up and get into it!
Welcome to KB. There's a few of us from Matamata who ride out the Coro now and then, usually as part of a loop. You're welcome to jump in some time. We might do a loop up through Waihi to Coro township and back down through Thames some time soon. Will let you know.

We can go at a learner pace while you're with us. Not a prob. When we ride with a learner, if we feel like having a blast through a particular section, we'll wait ahead and usually someone will hang back to keep you company (and to refrain you from the urge to keep up! Not something we encourage learners to do... unless you happen to be a natural rider, or just a jerk that we wont miss if you crash).

I'd be happy to take you for a ride, I'm a learner still (Ndorfn's partner) and as he said, he would be happy to go at learners pace, but I would be to. because I nearly always do. I'm getting a bit of confidence etc up now, so I try to learn something every ride I go out for We only currently have one bike between us, so it's one or the other! haha
