Did this ride for the first time yesterday. It rained a bit but nothing too bad. There wasn't much traffic, so it was a nice ride. I did it anti clockwise.

Welcome to KB. There's a few of us from Matamata who ride out the Coro now and then, usually as part of a loop. You're welcome to jump in some time. We might do a loop up through Waihi to Coro township and back down through Thames some time soon. Will let you know.

That would be cool if your group goes at a learner pace.

We can go at a learner pace while you're with us. Not a prob. When we ride with a learner, if we feel like having a blast through a particular section, we'll wait ahead and usually someone will hang back to keep you company (and to refrain you from the urge to keep up! Not something we encourage learners to do... unless you happen to be a natural rider, or just a jerk that we wont miss if you crash).

    Ride

I'd be happy to take you for a ride, I'm a learner still (Ndorfn's partner) and as he said, he would be happy to go at learners pace, but I would be to. because I nearly always do. I'm getting a bit of confidence etc up now, so I try to learn something every ride I go out for We only currently have one bike between us, so it's one or the other! haha

I'm Jenral, I just purchased my first motorcycle today (23/05/2009) after years, n' years of wanting one. I have picked a 2004 Suzuki GSX 250 to take me through to my full licence.
I'm excited and a little terrified, to take my first little baby steps into becoming a member of the biking community.

I live in Waihi, and work in Electronics Manufacturing as Technical Support.
Well done - have fun and stay upright.
