You misunderstand my point. I'm not saying Shaun's service won't void the warranty - that'd be mental.

Howver they can deny a claim if the maintainence schedule isn't followed for that part. My only problem is that it won't be the Honda approved schedule so I'll still have to book it in for a service that it probably doesn't need after Shaun has looked at it.

No longer an issue from December once my 2 year warranty expires anyway.

Shim check, oil, and filter can be deleted from my service plan, ($ TO BE NEGOTIATED) for very modern bikes. Your bike is new yes, but it is still NOT put together as good as it can be, Only doing it by hand and with care, can this goal be achieved.

Whilst apart, the forks can be Improved Modified, as per the Std Shock, or after market units be fitted.

CKT has a great 3 stage Suspension/service/modification plan in place, the options are all yours the punter.

But that's why i asked you if they have you locked into a service plan during the warranty period.

The services have to be to the Honda service schedule. AFAIK they can technically be done by anyone except the first service.

I'm sure anyone could do it to Honda spec if they had a copy of the shop service schedule but why open yourself up to arguments if you have to make a claim. If it's done in a Honda workshop there's no argument about who did or didn't do what and when.
