Head injury?

I was at Pukekohe on the weekend, and I wanted to know if anyone knows if the guy that came off on the bend just before the finish line is ok. My first experience of a accident and it wasn't very nice.

I wasn't there but I know the guy. Apparently he is in middlemore in intensive care with a broken pelvis and two fractures in his back. He will live and walk again but I understand he is in a lot of pain. Heal well Frank.

thanks, from what we saw he hit the wall pretty hard, after rolling quite a distance after the bike, which hit the bales first.... thoughts out to him.

I can't say it claimed him, but St Johns was busy... there is no good reason that if you had been there, for him to come off. He was doing everything on the mark... from our view point. So ye the track did it~!!! only Frank (as biggles calls him) knows.

More like high speed track + small run off and concrete walls = broken rider !
Could have been a number of reasons for the bike to go out under him, like ya say only he knows, or perhaps dosn't !

remember, as soon as we could find him on the long lens he put his hand up, so he was conscious.

I thought about racing but in the end decided it wasn't worth the risk...plus other reasons.
