(2018 Street Triple R HD2 TFT screen model)
So I decided to wash my bike today, and here in Auckland we have water restrictions so we can't use a hose. Anyways, I threw bucket loads of water onto the bike, and smartly enough I'm having a few issues.
So the bike is turned on, and the screen is flashing. I'm getting a 'main beam' fault. The key is not in the ignition, but the screen is turned on and it keeps flashing.
When I put the key in and turn it on, it all seems normal, but when I take the key out - the does not turn off and keeps giving a 'main beam' fault.
The screen was warm, so this would have been going on for a while so I have just disconnected the battery so that it does not chew that away. When doing so, I noticed water around the battery and some around the fuses...
My first thought is, yes, you idiot! Should have covered the electrical stuff!! AHHHHH!!!!!
I know... a noob mistake. But what can I do? please help!
This is the first issue I've encountered with my baby.
Thanks heaps!!
