A big party, no Jappas, 230km ride round coromandal loop, what could go wrong

This looks like it could be a lot of fun, but a 230km ride round the coromandal loop sounds 'interesting' They don't seem to want Jappas there either

Ha I was waiting for one of our super spreader experts to post about this given what they said about Sturgis rally...
Traffic control ha what a laugh that area is a nightmare in summertime with everyone in cars going to beaches and holiday baches. Really who would want to even think about riding that loop with that volume o of traffic.
Gonna see if I can get a vendor stall selling head gaskets a and clutch plates.

Great idea though aside Fromm being too close to one of the hell hole areas of high level road policing....
Expect it to be hell to organise and manage under the covid regs for organisers even at level one, you’d be under high scrutiny given the above national average level of Karen’s and greenies in that area.

It's bad enough with wannabe 1%'ers creating mayhem and falling off when they're on poker runs up this way

And how much would we have to pay for the privilege of being locked into a campground with no cheap alcohol, no vaping (? lol?) and more tanned leather backsides than I care to picture.

Ah, but it is modeled on Sturgis. Quote from the last paragraph - "the titular city".

I guess that means lots of boobies on display, too.

I don't understand the no Jappas decision. Ruling out a sizeable chunk of the potential market seems counter productive. As has been pointed out, the roads there at the height of summer are full of boats and caravans. Painful.

The guy has sorted the Beach Hop for a long time so has some nouse. Bands won't be cheap and many of them too, but will be leaning on the rich road whale riders to pay a lot.
Good on them. Although I think the behaviour of few elderly wealthy hot rodders they have on the beach hop, that in the main would single file it around the loop compared with several hundred rich city bikers who can afford this, riding those roads amongst holiday traffic will be interesting.

Sounds like a really good reason to avoid the area on the dates mentioned...

Yeah. I'll avoid it too. Smells a bit Trumpish to me. Not interested.

You spelt Triumph wrong. Being non Jappa it'll be interesting to see the harvey donaldsons and aprilias riding together, plus a few orange KTM's out for squirt too....

Let's see how this pans out

I reckon most riders would avoid the Coro Peninsula, for riding anyway, from mid December to mid February or thereabouts. So if a select group wishes to indulge in the advertised event, oh well

As for excluding Jap bikes, well it wouldn't take a Jap bike 4 days to make it around the Loop was my first thought
