    Cliffhanger Sprints questions

    Cliffhanger sprints .

Also whats the onsite food going to be like or is it bring your own?

And most important. Will 200mph be cracked?

Good luck Mossy, hopefully the weather plays the game for you.

I don't believe 200mph will be cracked easily as far as GPS speeds go. Alot of dick measuring in the world of top speed racing. Your ZX14 should get there though. Did you get the power commander for it btw?

I got my quick turn throttle yesterday, have yet to test out its effectiveness

Nah PCV is still going around in circles in the states according to the track and trace. Maybe im being punished for the Americas cup results.

I paid for priority mail and 11 days later it still hasn't left the usa.

Bangers n bread usually on offer with cold drinks (coke, water etc), sometimes a coffee cart turns up.

I will be there but only to beat my PB's, 200mph is a little out of my reach for now

Without the PC5 I think ill be slightly short of 200. I think if I was small and 60kg it would be helpful.

I'd offer to do it for you but it clashes with Buckets.

Easy, fighters have some good techniques for making a weigh in.

Wrap yourself in a plastic bag and sit in your car with the heater on full for four hours.

If you don't die you will likely sweat out twice that weight.

They use timing lights and a surveyed distance...Which I reckon is all shit, since an 05 R1 cut 307kph average over the 400 meters. Stock standard, with next to no k's on the clock to loosen it up.

Jay (who was riding said R1) cut a sub 10 second standing quarter on a half fucked ZX9 another year also.

The results are less than reliable, I'd bet my left nut on it.

Yeah man that sounds bullshit as, no disrespect to the rider or his ability though. Gives people false ideas about how fast their bikes can go so they post all over the internet about and get shot down.

I would be taking a GPS with me and measure their results against it.

I haven't. It doesn't bother me enough, or have any point other than bragging rights for the rider. Let them have it I reckon.

But a ZX9 with a tired clutch, cutting a 9 second standing quarter?

The timing gear is getting old, and I think it is problematic with trying to set the reflector up square to the course.
