Not sure how optimistic sellers are there but when I listed a 1954 Sunbeam S7 Deluxe for $5k a while back, nothing.
Black with drum brakes & some shiny bits you say?

There was a local car mechanic had one. It had an extra gauge so I looked closer, there was a nitrous bottle on the other side of the bike. His commute was 26k of country roads and could've been entertaining.

The old drum brakes were shit - I used to get caught out commuting daily on a modern Honda with discs .. and riding classics in the weekend.

What caught me out was going hot into a corner on an old BSA or Triumph - and remembering too late that the brakes were shit .. and certainly did not work as well as the discs.

Standing hard on everything and banging down the gears to make the bike stop - then having the let the brakes go because there was NO WAY the bike would lean under braking .. put a lot of scratch marks on mufflers ...

I never dropped it - but came close a couple of times - also had my anal muscles working over time ..

Classics are OK - but there are reasons why we don't ride them any more .

The first thing I ever sold on trademe was one of these in complete original condition with a spare engine for $350. Looks like I missed a zero off at least.

Oh, my bad, this one has been "restored"

Here's an interesting old treasure at a fair price that needs looking after.
If it was a CX Turbo it would be several times that.https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/mot...54f9db95b3-001
It's a Mitsubishi Cordia turbo motorbike equivalent.

    It's expired, what was it?
I'd like to list my MV, but I've had one guy play the long game with me, heard several riveting life stories, & been asked questions that don't matter by muppets with no intention.
It's easier to just leave it in the hallway.

What was he trying to pedal it for?

I had the greatest time on mine grinding engine bars and generally making this hobby a lifestyle choice.

    But I wouldn't want another.

    RZ350 though yeah baby.
