Not the newest, not the fastest, most practical, comfortable, reliable, etc etc.. But I need to sit down and cross my legs for a bit every time I walk into the garage
Most iconic shape , then they ruined it with the Terblanche models and saved it again returning to the 1098 / 848s in 2007/08. A hard lesson learnt there.

Eh, I honestly prefer the 999 design to the 1098. The former was trying something new (and is looking better with age) whereas the latter was just a bit too derivative for my liking

Agreed. The 999 has gained retroactive appreciation, but it came too late for Terblanche.

The 998, 996R (basically a 998) and the last year of 748's didn't have those big vents in the side of the fairings. No doubt this made it more aerodynamic, stable etc etc but for me the visuals aren't as good :P

Out of the blue I find the Egli Vincent café racer has that something about it .
I would rate the Ducati higher than the Britten ..

Only slightly different look to the 916 - still, a very sexy bike
