This doesn't really belong here but it is causing a stir on social media and it's a bit quiet so... Somebody put a Yamaha 250 2 stroke MX engine in a Honda Grom thereby raising the hp from 9 to 49. Heh heh heh heh (maniacle cackle).

Pretty sure the Bambina was a road legal race build. Whale tail and all if memory serves.

I've seen a Vespa with one of the small (350/400) Honda fours (years back now) - it was a tidy fit.

I remember the bambina wearing the whale tail, there were a couple of weird ones getting about...some guys that worked at the railways engineering workshops in Addington, there was a Bambina with an extended front & wheelie bars with a small block 327 sitting out for all to see, A Morris Minor with some V8 under the hood, the 4x4 Triumph 2000 & the V8 kit cars (firebirds & stingrays).
Used to see them quite regularly as two of them lived pretty close & the others were seen quite often around Riccarton.

The Vespa with the 900 was probably in the same bunch or maybe one of them as I'd see it once every couple of weeks in the arvo traffic on Clarence St heading to Straven Rd

I reckon this here would be great fun to get into FJ1200 powered Aussie Race Cars

there was also the two engined Mini. I think it went spectacularly well but not for long... issues with gearbox synchronisation?

GSXR1000 powered Smart cars are a thing.
