I quite like that setup. If it's been looked after as well as he states, I might go to $3k for that.

My reaction was an involuntary snort followed by an increasing chuckle.

Also why such low kms on such an old bike that's had fruit spent on it? Just don't get some people.

It's a very nice example - a mate's bike - well looked after and excellent mods.

The $3,000 is well negotiable ...

I rode one of those CB1300s and liked it a lot, so much so that I thought of buying one new, but Bluewing had run out of the ones with half fairing. Can't remember, but I'd be surprised if it cost that much new?

$3k ono for a well maintained GSF1200S tourer. I don't think that's optimistic, almost a bargain if you ask me. I bet that engine can do another 100,000kms easy.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Would seem to be a waste of that bike ...

That's too tight of package for a donor, if it's been maintained well there's another 100k in it easy

Though what's up with the matt black repaint of the bikini ?

Nah, it's a perfect one for a donor. I want the front end and rear wheel. Could easily sell off the engine and a few other bits to lower the cost of the bits I need.

Nah - it's shy of 20 years old. Nothing collectible in the future about a white bread and butter Suzuki.

The fruit makes it more attractive but you never get coin back on that.

Don't get me wrong the thing looks well sorted and will probably do 300 thou with just basic routine maintenance.

For me it's sub $3k but then I'm not after one of them.

Alternatively I may be talking out my arse and the $3k budget is full of dungers making this example sweet. A research project for me this weekend.
