Broke right at the barrel. The barrel was so tight in there, it wouldn't turn at all. Cleaned up the hole with a drill bit and it's all good now.

    Stuff for sale!

Anyone want a cheap TT350 with 2 wheelsets and reg on hold that needs a little TLC, a very cheap Gilera Nordwest that needs a bit of love or a DR650 with a spare engine, forks, wheels, swingarm that needs electrical help?

Also got an '81 GSX400F frame and engine free to a good home.

You named yourself after that Nordwest, if you sell it you'll have to change your name to TrannyBoy.

P.s stick the left over DR bits onto the GSX400 engine and frame and you'd have a complete bike.

The swingarm, forks and front wheel are on it already.
Only needs engine mounts, swingarm mounts, rear suspension...
Well, it's a frame, engine, forks and swingarm really. Most of those bits are connected to the others by gravity.

Hmmm, looks like an XT Shadow+ derailleur won't shift into 1st gear on an 11 speed MTB cassette.
The lowest it gets is about halfway between 1st and 2nd.
The Zee mech however does it fine.
Good thing I've got a OneUp long cage conversion lying around to replace the Zee's shortish cage

Another couple of 3w LED's installed.
Was going to put them on the handguards, but the left one was pointing significantly down compared to the right.

Forks arrived from China quicker than a chain from 40km away...

Nah, the Tranny has got enough cylinders for both.

I think it was the right time to change the rear tyre...

The front was a bit more of an issue
    Damn tubeless tyres...

No problem for the tyre machine up town though.

The whole bike sits much higher

Rubbed on the forkbrace/guard mount on both sides, so a bit of filing later and it's better, but I'll pull the brace back off soon and make sure it's not pushing the fork legs apart at all as I'm getting new fork seals next week and I don't want to stuff them for many thousands of km's.

Doesn't feel as good when riding, not as light in the steering, you have to use weight transfer instead of steering inputs. As though the steering bearings were done up far too tight.
