"these are not a cheap mass preduced chinese copy ,This is the real thing we imported from Thailand"

(not sure if the seller is on here but I thought this reply to a question seemed very KB... "the battery is a yellow one (moto-batt) and is not a Shorai, so it's quite good")

DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Mint looking example though. I don't remember it being anything special that year/model though to warrant the price. Just another BMW in the 80's that was suffering behinf the Japanese bikes.

I'm quite wary of bikes that have had keepers or custodians.
Mine are quite boring, they have just had previous owners.

Such a beautiful bike but I'm not a collector. I'm also wary of old bikes with low millage, they can be a lot of trouble. I prefer a nice bike with decent millage for it's age, they run well and need little work aside from normal servicing.

Because oil out the breather due to a 'possible' overfill and the inability to throw on a few spade bits to check the brake light inspires such great confidence

At least they're honest but it sounds like it's been trashed for the summer and then flick on before something bad happens sort of bike.

Coffee table might be better mechanically , but still, a little tempting.
