Or his ability to see where an issue may occur, and if it does occur how to maybe deal with it. It is not 100% but better than nothing, and if you haven't got 40 plus years of riding under your belt to gain the experience that you so treasure then rider training will pass on the knowledge of those that have experience to those that haven't got the experience. It is as simple as that.

That was back when I owned a Honda ............ I'm pretty sure the anal rules were in the rear section of the owners manual:

1. only use genuine Honda lube

2. take it easy the first few times until the bore loosens up

3. if it smokes excessively check the oil level

4. slow down if it is excessively wet to avoid falling off

5. if in doubt ask your dealer to show you how
