Getting my K6 GSXR 1000 track bike road legal

    Hi All,
Some years ago I imported a GSXR 1000 K6 track bike from California that has all road gear included but never used.
I’m thinking about the daunting task of getting it back into road trim and registered before the anti skid law for imports kicks in later this year.
I expect I will need a different headlight and Im aware of the brake measurement requirement too.

Is there a particular Testing Station or Compliance company that’s more user friendly than the rest in Auckland ?

    Thanks in advance
    Ant

I was going to say I didn't know about it, but I've done it now I think about it, the thing I've heard, which was actually experience masking memory, is import documents. Do you still have them?
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Check out the conditions of import. If it was imported for Racetrack use only ... putting it on the road may not be permitted.

Buying a buggered similar model bike ... and using your one to supply the good bits might be easier in the long run.
