actually 79-80 were 500a.....
the only changes from the 79 to 80 were 'Honda wing decal on the tank, The control levers and kick starter arm are black, and the muffler is smaller.

This wee bike is no longer running but someone may be able to fix it up - have had some diagnostics done at Cycle Treads, after replacing the cdi and coil they say it may be the stator, or it may be dodgy old wiring.
Sounds like a bargain right!
Comes with a box of bits, manual, service history and a spare tyre - might be able to get started if someone knows what they're doing. S=R is $200

is it the same donkey as the NX-1 of which(might be) i think is a water cooled XR250 motor, if im right then the lecky stuff shouldnt be to hard to source, would pick it up myself if i had some spare pingers.

good buying for someone...i think the engine is much the same as an xl250 degree..twin cam and single exhaust port? bit hard to telll in the pic, stator woulnt be outa the question for sure, good luck with the sale shewolf
