three and a half its good buying - provided it runs OK. If you had a real shitter and turned it into that you'd be pretty happy I reckon.

It's just possible that your occupation colours your view of it? I'd rank that as the second best ad I've seen. Bettered only by the guy who was selling a crash helmet because his wife had left him. (Long story. Long but fucking hilarious.)

It seems Triumph UK know about the ad, but it's still there. As Dangerous Bastard used to say, it has gone international. Can't help feeling that even a basic level of customer service could have avoided that.

And right there is the truth. Very much implied the shop just stuck up a finger or two to their customer. It happens that every now and then a dud is produced - not necessarily reflective of the breed just a black sheep in the flock, how the dealer/factory treats the dud dictates the owners response.

Seeing as I haven't been able to get 16k for it over the last three years or so...I think I should make it 18k! That'll work.

Logic says the older it gets the more collectable it becomes so obviously it's going to go up in value

    I aksed him a qvestion:

So this has been sitting unsold on tardme for more than a year at $16k. Did some misguided fool express an interest at that money. hence you've put the price up to $18k?

Ahh thanks Crasher. It's back. Lost its longest continuous listing status though.

Truely in the spirit of this thread. Fucking optimistic.

I think you'd struggle to get 18k for a nice one. That particular example...to me, is a four grander.
