Hello this is BuckBuck#1 and for those of you that may be familiar with OCPD, I trust in the weeks and months ahead that you may find an interest and insight to my condition and my journey since I commenced riding in 2006. For those of you that may not be aware of OCPD, then perhaps in time you may want to either read on or click the mouse and move to another section in this Kiwibiker website.
For those of you that were around in 2006/8 some of you may remember the Newbie Training Update that I logged in the Forums and also in the Blogg section. In June 2008 however I had a major OCPD episode and I asked the senior moderators to terminate my login, hence the original “BuckBuckNo1” became “Terminated”. I suppose that gives the conclusion that I was the ‘terminator’ not the ‘terminatee’, it was my decision to move away from the website and not contribute.
As we move into the winter of 2009 now, I recently requested the administrator/moderator for access and have acknowledged that my contributions to this website belong to the website. So without any further comment, I will review and revisit my own logs of the Newbie Training Update and draw upon those experiences I have had since 2006, and importantly I will address some of those cognitive behaviour techniques I applied where I identified that my clinical OCPD had a significant part to play.
[It is Sunday afternoon 10 May 2009, Mothers Day – a time to reflect my mother passed eight years ago on the 9 May]
In the meantime my photo album provides a brief history.
