Hi I'm wanting to start up a club for vampire motorcycle riders. Only those who yearn for fresh warm human blood & the smell of a fully choked out engine on a winters morning need apply.

Fangbangers stay away unless you want to be glamoured.

To get into this club you have to supply me with a copy of the doubled up episodes of True Blood last nite on Prime. I managed to stay awake for the first half then had to go feed on some poor cage driver that wandered into the headlites of the bloodlusting KLR.

Either Underworld or the sequel.

About the first vampire movies made since 1931 to actually raise an eyebrow in surprise at how well they were made. The camera work, casting, acting, costumes, props, sets, storyline and dialogue - everything was brilliant. Lighting was done particularly well.

No arguments. Nothing else is even close, barring Bela Lugosi's performance in the original Dracula.

Underworld is so good it's even great watching it with the sound off......

Not sure what all the fuss is about with Twilight - I recently watched it with my almost 11 year old daughter - she loved it. I suggested she watch one of my Vampire DVD's with me........Mrs B said NO.:spanking:

Blade is excellent however I don't like the way he kills us with his nasty weapons. Salma Hayek is my kind of vampire baby but haven't seen Underworld yet - have to get it out & watch it.

True Blood is the only programme I make an effort to watch - everything else pales in comparison.

I don't think I've seen Blade... or if I have it obviously didn't make too much of an impression on me :o

The book is always better than the movie eh.
I love Stephen King books and the movies they have made of his books and short stories have never done them justice, The Green Mile is the only one that has come close IMHO, Stand By Me wasn't bad and The Shawshank Redemption came close, but again, the origional story had so much more going on, tons of humor!!
As far as Vampire stories go, I've read the whole Vampire chronicles of Anne Rice (Writer of Interview with The Vampire, Queen of the Damned etc) and the books just had that certain something that the movie just couldn't do justice to. Disappointing, however I don't mind watching an hour and a half of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt with their piercing eyes!!! :laugh:

I think you need to go to www.gothbiker.co.nz - they are quite big on this whole dark world, pale skin, bleak outlook thing.

As for vampire movies - I thoroughly enjoyed Night Watch, it's Russian and rather gory too.

Annnnnnd, that was about the last good bit of that movie. Sucked really, I love the first half of From Dusk til Dawn, but pretty much after when Salma does her dance it all just goes down hill and gets stupid. :(

My eight year old loves Twilight, but I forgive her, at her age I guess she hasnt developed any good movie taste yet.

To be honest I liked Dust to Dawn, only mostly because of the director and the fact I never saw the Vampire thing coming.

Bloody bloody bloody Twighlight is the biggest waste of life ever... a girl convinced me to go around and watch it... got 10 minutes in, vomited and left. It really is the worst kind of tweenie shlock ever!

Didn't mind the first two blade movies, third one was terrible... BUT it did have the best insult possibly ever in a film "You cock juggling thunder C#N^" thank god they convinced ryan reynolds to do that film... he is the only thing that made it even vaguely watchable.

Tru Blood however was a pretty damn good series, looking forward to season two
