Motor wanted!

I need a motor for a project I've got on the go.. It has to..

- be manufactured before 1989 (or after 89 but using the same design as an 89 or before, if you catch my drift)

- needs to be a 500cc 2 stroke single (rm, kx, cr etc) OR 600cc 4stroke single, water or air cooled is irrelevant.

Basically it needs to conform to both f3 and pre89 post classic junior rules.. I want a single cyl for simplicities sake.. If you know of one in a barn or under someones bed etc please give me a shout, I'm onto a few leads at the moment but all options are being considered..

Info leading to purchase will attract a finders fee where practicable..

Man I hope its fun to ride !

So far I've unearthed a lightened klr600 motor and a xr500 on steroids, only problem is its in bits so a rebuild would be in order there..

I am still looking around though..
