no not to hard. but you need to make at least 5 posts before you can send pms.

Spammers are a standard problem forums over. you can only do so much, and the rest is watching when new accounts sign up, sometimes the names give them away and you can ban before anything happens, but sometimes it happens over night which will wait until a mod gets up and checks site.
