anyone out there ever got it up on a rg 150?
ive seen one done up a hill at about 80k.. now ive got one and ive found every other limit on the thing so i thought id give monos a go..
ive done a few at about 5k just revving it and dropping the clutch..(yawn) and ive done 1 after many attempts by taking off up a hill and hitting powerband in 1st and dropping the clutch :yeah: .. this seems the only situation i can get it up(the front wheel.. not my wang!) any1 got any hints.. not viagra

5-10kmh, 13 grand rpm, clutch and weight transfer off the forks... can hold it there for a bit, havnt tried hooking 2nd yet (but know it can be done) and have stopped doing them because my RG has a fucked tyre and brakes and a few near flips... Bike doesnt really have enough torque to get it up while moving at speed...

try sitting a bit further back on the seat too, get your weight further off the front, and don't crouch over the bars either, full length arms (but don't lock your arms!)..

good luck dude!

Ive been experimenting with this too. I havent got it up yet mostly because when I do try im doing it in my driveway a little beer'd up and im still to chicken to really get it up there.
I think it would be pretty difficult on either RG or RGV 150's

Yeah.... - right!
When I was even younger and more foolisherer than I am now, I had a classmate that raced motocross (he was the national 250cc champeeen, even). He wheelied everything.
If he could get it up on a Yamaha 50 (and he did - easily), an RG150 should be a piece of piss.
Technique is everything.:yeah:
I used to wheelie my underpowered, overweight, CB175. Not well, but I did. It did really good donuts though.
Before I wrote it off while practising wheelies on a quiet backstreet....
On Christmas Day...

As you do...

When I was a cocky 15 year old dumb ass who had ridden dirt bikes and could wheelie the two wheeler farm bike I used to try wheelies on my RG but it was pretty stupid.

Would cruise along in second sitting just on the bottom of the power band, shift my weight back, yank the fuck out of the handle bars and rip the throttle open, used to be good for about 5 or 10metres I guess, probably had a few near death experiences as it was fairly reckless

Luxury! When I was young.....

I wish I could practice in MY driveway... Not bloody likely hehe
I'd love to be able to do a good rolling stoppie, followed instantaneously by a wheelie. I don't know how they go from stoppie (stopped) to wheelie, without actually covering any ground first.

I need a cheap bike and quiet road to practice

first thing is to switch to a smaller sprocket 15 tooth if you strip it down to race trim, jet tune it " race legally " then it will wheelie off the lauch.......

dont know how i know that
