Yeah. That'll teach me for stopping at a one-way bridge.
Next time I'll just wheelie past the oncoming car who has right-of-way, and knock his wingmirror off as I go, whilst mentally preparing my "fooking cagers" thread that I will post later.

At least in the Adventure bike thread a crash is more likely to be a minor mishap resulting in little or no damage and alot of laughs for the witnesses as opposed to a helicopter flight and months in hospital  . Keep them coming I wanna see those trashed road bikes.

This was mine, back in England bout 18 - 20 years ago... Car pulled out of a side road. Bike went under the car, I went over it. (sorry about the quality of the pic, it's one of those old fashioned ones, in print that you can hold)

He became "tangled up" in the vehicle's wheels and was decapitated and lost both of his legs – as the entire scene was caught on film by Bowden behind him.

So if I dig a big hole and drop the K5 into it, in a few months time a nice new K9 will appear out of the soil?
Can someone lend me a digger?

Not much can be done when you are traveling at well under the speed limit with headlight on during the day & an 18 yr old girl decides to pull out on you, last minute :bash:

Didn't have time for anything let alone being scared. She literally pulled out on me a nano second prior to me passing the T intersection. The experts reckon I was doing between 70 & 80km/h in a 100 zone. I gripped the bars & bent the bastard like that prior to doing a superman dive over her bonnet landing about 20 feet away. Dislocated a thumb in the process too lol.
Twas a very lucky lad it wasn't worse than it was, just 9 pins & a titanium plate for life.
Hence why all three bikes ive had since are loud, people bitch n moan at times about how loud this current one is but fuck it I say :oi-grr:

Pretty much :)
Needs new right indicator though, apart from that it is just cosmetic, Oh and needs the bracket fixed under the fairing.
It is at the bike shop getting assessed anyways I just have to take it easy :( Sore ribs. Had my first ride in a REAL ambo hehe might carefully drive out there before it gets dark just to see what I can see.
I visited the place where I kissed the road and it was neally to slippery for me to walk on...
The seal had smoothed and rounded off to the point where it was useless.

Over a time span of 14yrs have had 7ops and it's wait for artificial elbow technology to make something thats going to last long enough that I wont end up with a arm fused in place by the time I'm in my 50s. It's permantly broken & dislocated (the ulna shaft fracture is a non union and the radial head is dislocated)

That was the one mate. Took patricks bike back to Eddies place. 250 rides...at least they keep you entertained. I stopped doing them when 5 new riders all crashed on the same corner one after the other because they got target fixation. Shit just gets tiring to be honest.

That's still serious enough though bud
My one, I eventually broke the plate and then my body started to reject it and the end came out through the elbow  had a smaller plate fitted for 18mths then had that removed then K-wires fitted
Got the X-rays of the broken plate somewhere and still got the metalware trophys too
Always remember one of the nurses at waikato hospital saying how lucky I was  she reckoned if I been there 5yrs earlier with the same injury the arm would have been amputated above the elbow :bye:
