Result of inspection.
I did NOT do any mechanical inspection of the engine
Tyres-front 3.0mm tread pirelli diablo
Rear 3.5mm pirelli diablo
Disks -rear slight wear-pads 4.0mm
Front -fine no real wear---pads 4.0mm
Chain,sprockets -half worn

Cosmetics--front and rear right indicators damaged--both still attatched ok and still WOF standard but not pretty.
exhaust scraped on muffler.scraped ball ends on levers.
Fairing has a fair bit of cracking which doesn't apear to be affecting function but all cracks are visable.
Engine sounds fine -no funny rattles. even idle A bit of pulsing/bogging below 3000rpm which I feel is a function of the aftermarket pipe.

Test ride.-- Generally felt like a 1993 bike should The engine runs smoothly above 3000 ,gearbox works well and no slipping from the clutch,Suspension seemed in keeping with the bikes age and milage. I may be mistaken but it feels like the pipe has boosted the bikes midrange.
I would ride it to wellington without hesitation But 3 things I noticed-
1) a pulse in the lever under brakes/juddering in the forks. This may be a slightly warped disk -feels like it but also might be loose steering head bearings. Its not a heavy pulse but its there.
2) the bike pulls to the right in neutral on a normal road. I would expect it to pull slightly left.may be the tyres but theres a chance the wheel alighnment is out as a result of being crashed.
3) the below 3000rpm bogging. -Its there but really diddn't apear to affect ridability in any way.
Hope this helps.
