Now I got two records with one tag, fast tag, and most dissallowed tag :first:

This was my attempt at the proper shot, camera is not too good, first time I've tried a night shot with it I think, may be time to see about purchasing a new camera. Will put up my tag in the morning, phone camera works alright during daytime.

Perhaps when the actual tag pic is a trifle unconvincing the tagger should post it together with supporting evidence. If bogan had posted his two pics together then he may have secured the tag cleanly under the "reproduce as best you can" rule. Of course, a shiny new camera with a decent flash would've taken it beyond doubt.

Given that most of us chase tags outside of working hours this will happen again as day tags are captured at night.

Top tip for taggers with rubbish cameras :( My P&S is okay but my Nokia is crap. I've had a few really bad pics so far and the main reasons are the numberplate or the headlight. The number plate is worst. It reflects so much of the flash back that the rest of the shot becomes horribly under exposed. Framing the shot to exclude the plate or draping something over it makes a huge difference. Try it, YMMV.

At least with daylight saving almost on us it should be less night flash shots maybe.Also maybe if the pic can't be taken as per tag(original)maybe take pic as close as showing tag,then also say it is xyz school,front gate sign or similar words,and another pic of bike in position even if not clear.This only really needed if the pic you take is dark and barely recognisable.

Some of the tag photos probably aren't that good (bike on angle etc). The one I've used is 158x128 pixels so if you can shrink them down to that size it would be helpful.

Personally, I'm not too concered about bike placement - once again it could be tricky with night shots. As long as the tagger can prove they were there.

There's no law that says you can't push a motorbike along a footpath, but I think each tag should at least be visible from the road. Afterall the aim is to get everyone out there riding looking for the tag. If it's not visible from the road then it can't be found through riding :oi-grr:

Another rules question, mobile posting is ok i assume, by that i mean laptop/cellular internets or iPhandangle if you have one. I utilised this getting the tunnel one, for some reason i got some funny looks while using my laptop in helmet/jacket with my bike halfway down a cycle path. Worked real good though. Obviously it gives some advantage but so does living close to where the tag is. It does mean that instead of a ride to get the tag, and another to get a new one, its all done in one ride so it makes for quicker tag turnover.

Now for the new tag!
Ive shopped out the dead giveaway part of the sign (awesome glare did a good job of that for me as well) but will post the original if a clue is needed. Angle of shot taken must be paid attention to in this one, though i recomend we are a little bit lax about bike placement, mine was a little close to the edge, and we wudnt want a connie to collapse part of the bank :Pokey:

Protest! You can't shop tag photos! Otherwise I might just shop my bike over yours and, well, you get the point. Photos must be unadulterated. If you want to cut out the dead giveaway parts then frame the shot to exclude them.

Regarding the mobile upload, I'm pretty sure that has been discussed and outlawed although the policing of it comes down to honesty.

yeh rain riding would not be advised till i make some motor air ducting. Looks almost exactly the same as an 89 kr-1s, but with no expansion chambers/cans, and a bigger rear sprocket, maintaining the look was one of the major design constraints.
