Just bought 2007 Buell XB12, first Buell and first bike without fancy faring etc. Any hints, tips do's or don'ts would be appreciated. Living in Europe close to open speed autobahns of Germany but pleasantly surprised how well it handles the twisties as well.

Yeah... try not to loose your license.

The XB12s I rode was begging to be wheelied and stoppied at every opportunity... great hoon bike, be more suited to the eiffel or ardennes than the autobahn tho.

You a kiwi? should catch up for a ride some time?

Yeah, get the bike checked out before you give it such a serious pounding.

The best thing about the autobahn is that you can see just what the bike will do (top end), without having to worry about the police.

There are some great mountain roads around your way.

Try not to 'freefall'

Hi guys, thx for the feedback, travelling in Asia at the moment so not logged on that often. Great to see some Kiwi Bikers up this way (Luxembourg). Let me know if you are in the area for a ride.
