Riding along Mokoia Rd this morning approaching the lights at Highbury.
White car on my left seemed to be going a bit quick considering there's a car stopped to turn right ahead. So, I'm watching him like a hawk, thinking that he's going to try a dive into my lane. Bugger me if he doesn't drive straight up the arse of the stopped car. It was a hell of a bang right by my earhole.
Bloody funny though, except for the poor sod in the stationary car.

I'd say so, it was just a fender bender.

And you're in a fine place to say "Yes officer, he was driving dangerously - so much so that I was treating him with extra caution."

And when you get electricity and colour television it [Hamiltown] will be perfect.
I don't think so.
The weather would still suck.
And the drinking water.
And it would still be Hamilton: central to everywhere.
Like the hallway of your house....

You'll know us when you get here. Everyone lives in a mobile home.
Well they're cars really, but they spend most of each day in them and eat breakfast and dinner in them.

One location. Ruawai. IT sucks - STRAIGHTS for ages (anyone who has done the ruawai flats know what I mean) glad I left that place quick smart, although it has some great dirt bike roads!

Lou could you video the next event you witness of this ilk please? I'm pleased you avoided any injury yourself, but that is the kind of slapstick I can just watch over, and over, and over, and over, and.....

Ya gotta love Monday mornings!

Oh I loved mine this morning...
After pulling the tank off again last night, I dislodged the vacuume line to the tank and after getting enraged and yelling at the bike I put it back on where I thought it was meant to be. Apparently not there. So I managed to ride the NC up the hill down the hill and then had to ring my great mate MrMelon to help me push it up the "path of insanely stepness" finally we reached the top. We had to slarlom it around a car and into the garage. After asking Melon if I could use his ZX6R to go to work ( cause I was very late) I managed to drop it in the garage ontop on his streetmagic....
Nothing was broken, apart from my mental health.

*slap*

Pushing a broken nc30 up a steep path is not a fun thing to do at 7am. Oh the bike was a bit of a bitch to push up the hill too.

Brings to mind the fun and games I saw on the southern motorway a month ago.
Approaching one of Auckland's spontaneous "lets park on the motorway events" I was keeping an eye on the mirrors for "sleepies",Then a couple of loud bangs in quick succession and I see a large SUV 5 cars back standing vertically on it's nose before goin right over and across three lanes.
Gee those things are safe.

Heh almost!

The vacuum line to the fuel tap was pretty perished and broke somewhere deep in the tangle of hoses around the carbs and we couldn't see where to hook it back up, but it's all sorted and the nc30 lives again!
