Pinlock visor, but how to stop glasses fogging?

I have a pinlock visor, which is the best solution I have found for helmet visor fogging. Typically I wear contact lenses as well. But sometimes the eyes are just bitching too much and I have to wear glasses.

While riding late last night in the cold I remember why I don't wear glasses much. Each time I went through a low speed area, or stopped, they fogged up terribly. Visor was fine.

What do those people who wear glasses do? I was thinking about trying one of those chemical anti-fog treatments.

I don't want to ride with the visor up or open. The cold air coming in at the face isn't that pleasant.

I have used fog-x on my glasses before. It works well, but needs reapplying every day. I am sure any thing you can use on visors could be used on glasses eg: Catcrap.

Yerrrr dat's a problem.

I just leave the visor open a snick and it seems to be OK. In heavy rain though, some water eventually gets on the specs and that's it - can't friggin' see for shit.
If no rain, I can usually close the visor fully once all temperatures have evened out.
Have yet to try anti-fog chems. Might try rain-x...although the regular lens cleaner has isopropyl in it anyway (I think)...so might be no different...

I dont wear glasses but found this MX product-was for MX goggles inside facing- worked great on visors at weekly application periods

Catcrap is confirmed to work on the visor- so cant see why not on the specs

I got two helmets, one fogs like a bitch, the other one doesn't at all, so try a helmet with a larger space around your mouth and nose.

Nice for some to have that option. There's no easy solution for glasses fogging in a helmet. Shoei's snib catch that holds the visor slightly open is the best solution I've found.

Lol, last weekend I saw someone that keeps a peg on the bike for that very reason.Quite ingenious I thought.

spit on the inside of your glasses then rub it round with your finger.



No not a whooping fat greeny......... just a light spit of saliver.

I simply bought an Oxford anti-fog screen for my helmet. Just fits on the inside of the visor and no fog! Much better then catcrap and not sure how well that stuff will work on glasses.

A lot of the foggy occurrs because I wear one of those covers that goes around my neck and nose, which tends to trap a lot more breath in the helmet. It's pretty cold riding at night and early morning without it.
