I'm tempted to do this race

http://www.silverbullet.co.nz/event.php?id=7004

Its the weekend after the last round of the 2 man. So if I can get leave from work I'll probably go down and give it a crack.

You can team up, but you have to use 1 bike.

Might be able to sort out a place to stay for some of you guys. Definitely can sort some storage out as my parents have 2 garages and masses of parking.

Like I said it depends on if I can get leave or not.

Yep great track, lots of new parts to the track this year, final touchs been put on it at the moment. Was going to race but busted my wrist and plaster comes off the week before it, so might do some marshalling instead.

siz hour is always a fun event, with a really good meal and piss up afterward as well, that is worth the trip down by itself,

Looking more likely that I'm doing it now.

What have I got myself into......

What tyre would be ideal for the terrain? Stick with a MH3?

MH3 is perfect up there, some soft parts but also some hard tracks,

I grabbed the flyer off silver bullet, it looks like it says "2009 Hour Challenge". If it was that long I think my arms would fall off.

since buying my last one ive been informed that the MH3 is made of softer rubber than the MS3 - and that the S and the H mean for what kind of terrain they are made for, not the compound of rubber they are made from.

next one for me will be a MS3 or maybe a bridgestond 401? i think it is

Search on google for a hotel, it takes all of 20mins to get to the property on the Taihape Rd from Napier. Theres a camping ground in Tardale to make it closer to the event location. Track has a good mixture of dirt, something for everyone.
