I might wander up if its not raining. I may melt in the rain.
I might've been tempted if I wasn't still trying to get the Hornet back together. The new throttle cable turned up today but it's a bastard to get in. Just no room to manoeuvre.
Oh, and I managed to figure out what I was doing wrong with the relay for the hot grips. I had it in series with the headlight, not parrellel .

Brilliant riding weekend coming up weather wise, I have an urge to get the bike out and visit parts Northern....:niceone:
I am sure the rain will wash the road sufficiently (and where needed) between now and then...
Will decide on what day later...but probably Saturday being Daylight savings on Sunday...done it before and people have put thier times back instead of forward and turned two hours late...

Can't do Saturday now, I have chosen to work...well I was asked to and I said yes.
First time in 10 years I have worked on a Saturday...
My favorite things are...not mowing lawns and not working weekends...but needs must, the shop is so busy they are turning away work and, are struggling to keep up with the workload they have so, I must help out.
Sunday is looking good though.

Queue wasn't thaaaaaaaaaat bad :innocent:

Queue sucked! and the woman behind the till was rude. I actually got an apology from the people behind us, they could not believe what they had heard  Felt alot happier after telling her how rude she was :innocent:
Have to say the service was good considering the number of people there and I really enjoyed my meal. How lovely was it out there?
What a gorgeous day, it is actually warm today, coming home I was thinking it time to take out the thermal liner in my jacket. As usual Millie behaved beautifully, I saw you hit that buried pipe or what ever that friggen speed hump was across the road, on SH16 but had nto time to react before my bum left the seat  not a twitch from Millie.

I'm offline from now until Monday, so will run with this. :scooter: LMK by text any modification please - 0275 904 284.
Good ride today, thanks for your company.
Yip 300 Kms in absolute ideal riding conditions...Marsden roundabout had both front and rear tyres going left at the same time....something on the road me thinks, the surface is sweet as.
Yeah, what was with that? It got my front only, bit of a surprise. Lets go find that friggen vibration before it drives me spare.
You will be surprised to learn I have been thinking about you all day today  It has worked though, elbows are begining to behave :wari:

Good ride today, thanks for your company.
It was a great ride with you guys, thanks. What lovely roads, bar the invisible gravel and whatever was on that roundabout. Good to learn some new car driver signalling options too.
The extra hour riding at each end of the day may have been what tipped me into exhaustion - out of practice.

Left home this morning around 10am enroute to Paihia...I had heard that the Queen Mary II was in town.
Called in to see and have a coffee with Gorge Formby, cheers Mark, will bring beer next time and stay a while, nice spot!!
Had a bite to eat at a roadside Cafe' just before midday, wanted to check it out as a food stop for our pending Whananki ride in April..and it will do just fine.
All day breakfasts and half portions, very nice covered outdoor eating also.
Got to Paihia, the place was very busy as I expected, the big boat was sitting in the bay, tenders were ferrying people into Waitangi from the ship.
We took our bike gear off and stood in the water, to cool the feet off at least. Then sat on the bank for a while just taking in the day..left at 3pm.
Not to self: Buy some Gel pants!
