You can use a rattle gun and a rag, for the clutch basket.. Its not too bad on it.

Squiggles helped me out with the clutch basket tool http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=98019

Fylywheel is still on it as I didn't need to take the crank out.

The pictures give a good enough indication of what you need to make.
By the looks of it you only need a drill, hacksaw, files and vice to make what is required.

I would not try the rattle gun method, damage to the nut will only end in tears when the proper solution is so straight forward.

Last weekend I had to do a simmilar job- hence a mate who was around on the day pointed me to this thread.
(Just in case you think I am waffling without any real experience)

For the clucth hub holder use an old steel to make one of these.
