Hey all. I have in my posession a used digital ignitor from a 1987-88 American-spec (108BHP) FZR750 2NK model.
Unlike the 2LM spec ignitor I also have, this is the full-horsepower model.
If you have a Japanese spec 2LM model (restricted to 77BHP) you can get 108BHP by simply plugging in this model, removing the bung in the airbox, rejetting with 102.5 and 105 main jets and a 125# pilot air jet, and changing exhaust to less restrictive muffler.
I know - I did it myself to my now-dead FZR750R
This can be used in either the 1987 or 1988 model and is in perfect working condition.
I've got it on trademe at the moment for $125 but if any KB'ers are interested I'll do a good deal with them.
If you know FZR's you will know how rare these puppies are - it took me 16 months to track one down and I was looking on a weekly basis for them.
It utterly transformed my FZR - well 30 more ponies will do that.
Unfortunately it won't prevent fire damage. However the unit itself was utterly untouched in the recent disaster.
Let me know if you are interested.
