No dates confirmed yet but...
It will happen
Dont ever ask for a job folks, or you get one :sunny:
Not sure at this stage the route for the BIKEOI from wherever you are to Wellington, but we are going to need some overnight beds along the way all over the place. This is an open ride and will hopefully have riders from all skill levels. Some will not be able/comfortable to ride all the way to Wellington in one trip and will need a stop along the way.
Can I please have a show of hands from anyone that is prepared to offer up a bed to one or two or five cold, tired bikers from far flung areas for a night. By bed I mean; bed/couch/sofa/camp stretcher/floor space. Will they need to feed themselves, or maybe throw a couple of $$ in towards food?
Can I please have an indication of what is on offer, how many you can host, do they need to have sleeping bags etc? Oh and where you are?

November 17th parliament resits after recess!!
lets cut the bullshit with having Polls on what date suits people, the first sitting for parliament is going to be the 17th so lets just get down there and protest!!!
The Plan: Sunday 15 November leave Auckland, cruise down and stay in Turangi overnight. Plenty of accommodation and dont have to carry food or sleeping bags.
monday 16th: head to Wellington bright and early. need to find accommodation here (a mates, a KBer, backpackers or motel).
tuesday 17th: protest at parliament and head back up to Turangi again for overnight stay.
wednesday 18th: cruise back up to Auckland.

I'm in Upper Hutt.
Have a foldout couch to double bed available, plus can accomodate some people on blowup beds in the lounge if needed.
A warning though. I have motorcycle mad children. ;)

 So in echange for a bed for the night, you will have to let riffer's kids sit on your bike while you make "vroom vroom" noises and let them beep the horn! I love it!

Pretty much. Although the older ones are getting close to the "can I borrow the keys" stage...
