either 21 or 22 November (ill confirm in the next few days) up to 80km of trails, includes riverbeds, farm land, forestry, rocky stuff, forest roads, mud, water, grass, stones, you name it!

ride fee includes awesome lunch. its worth going just for the lunch even if you dont ride! farmers wives cooking at its best!

its about 1 hour out of gisborne in the northern direction. camping available on site (contact me to arrange this) cheese has ridden here before if you want a testimonial.

all you aucklanders do some car pooling and go for a ride somewhere that isnt woodhill kimmys thunder or riverhead! (not that theres anything wrong with those places)

That you on the cr tipping over at the end boom? wish I could make it for the ride, been there a few years back and can attest to it being on par with the best riding terrain found anywhere in NZ.... the effort to make the trip will be well worth it, stay in Gizzy for the night and get out into town too ....

Good stuff boom, awsome mate, nothing like an adventure before the ride even starts. Maybe the 'north of the bombays' types will actually get to see what a 'real' hill looks like,:sweatdrop if they can muster the brain cells to figure the route and gumption to put effort into getting there  'real' New Zealand awaits you! Lol

haha yea, its quite an adventure after a storm!

you can actually ride all the way there from whatatutu about 200m down the road from step 4, via the river - aquaplaning all the way!! great fun to be had. takes about 25 minutes if you dont muck around! probably not a good idea without a guide who knows the area though as the river forks off in a few places!

cheese has pushed his rm250 through most of it back a few years ago! lol
