This has got to be the best 250 out there. Plenty of power with handling to match, whilst still being easy to ride around town or commute in traffic.

You can ride it on a learners licence, once you've passed and got a full licence there's still plenty of character and more than enough go to keep up with bikes more than twice it's capacity.

I have had it for 18 months, it's been regularly serviced and spoilt.

Engine is in excellent condition: bullet proof. Almost new chain and sprockets, air, fuel and oil filters. Oil religiously changed every 3,000 kms and filter every 6,000. Carbs have been professionally re-balanced and jets have been cleaned. Major service [filters, timing and general tune-up] 100 kms ago.

Sticky Pirelli sports demon (the best tyre for the bike) on the rear; front has still got plenty of tread. Chain is top of the line O-ring, regularly waxed. just had the rear axle greased.

As far as I know the bike has never been dropped, though the previous owner let it fall off the stand and scuffed the fairing on one side. But that is getting fixed next week.

The bike is in really good condition for its age. the motor doesn't miss a beat, the fairings are all original paint scheme and all stickers are still there. You wont be disappointed with this bike. Potential for a concourse classic if you wanted to exhibit... nah, just ride it and enjoy the free-revving motor.

I am sad to see it go but I am upgrading to something bigger now, I use this as a daily commuter from out of town and need something that's a better tourer.
