I'll be there as will my Dad,
On the racing forum Nigel has put up a list of entries, there isn't a whole lot but still enough for some close racing I hope (if I can keep up with fxr's at the top of 5th.
Roll on Sunday!!

You're on!! :2thumbsup
That must be $100 for photo finish.:sweatdrop
I was wondering when someone would pick that up.
Should be a good weekend all going well. hope the weather is good and i don't finish last.
Last place in slowest grade:weep:
Still, at least i'm doing it now instead of wishing i was like the last 5 years.

Just slip Kierans camchain one tooth on the sproket when he isn't looking.
Have fun down there, would love to be going but I have to go and count zinc saturday morning and getting my wheels fitted with bearings that should work Sat afternoon.
Hoping like hell that the mods I made to the exhaust and the wiring I took away don't make it run like a bag of crap at the two hour. On thebright side I checked the valve clearances and they were spot on. I think the bike was previously owned by a couple of monkeys that couldn't ride 50 feet without falling off but thankfully weren't confident enough to thrash the thing.

Thats where I think I lucked in with mine, the 1st one I rode was f^&@#d, could't pull a greased stick out of a monkey's ass. I thought if this is what everyone is racing i'm buying a gokart, but rode another one, which I now race, din't even need to get it out of the driveway and i knew it was miles better.
And now we know what to do, as in Kieran's bike aka test bench, mine won't be to far away from that. Just gotta fit rearsets now and ready for Taupo.
Which reminds me......Charge the video camera, something I haven't managed to do thus far!!

If I get everything done in the next couple of weeks will only have rearsets and a GN carb to go before I can just park it and drag it out of the shed once a month.

Thats Kierans specialty. Although I'm getting better, as a great man once told me........"If you keep riding through the 'moments', they stop being moments and just become your riding style"
I'm still not quite used to the rear sliding around so much, not so much of a problem on dirt, but hard to get my head around on the tarmac. Feels farking cool though.
Bring on me new slicks :2thumbsup:2thumbsup:2thumbsup

Unfortunately no Team ESE bikes will be at Taupo, we have to work , we would have very much liked to see how our 2-strokers went against the CBR and FXR's on a long track.
If anyone can, please publish lap times for the buckets and what they think the max speed is down the main straight.

Sure hope so...........but Rick on his FXR won the GP last year and Tim won most F4 races the year before.
Should be a good day for you tomorrow, which Taupo track configuration are they using?
Let us know how it went and any pointers on speed and times would be welcome.
