I was just thinking about this new lights on law.hasn't the gubbinment in one fell swoop made bicycle riding more dangerous. Trddlies are hard enough to spot as it is when the rider is solo. So wont making bikes headlights be on make them even more invisible.?

Given most motorcycles have had permanently wired on headlights from new for about the last 20 years or so there aren't that many around without headlights on so I can't see the new law making a scrap of difference to bicycles really.

S'alright. ACC will pay to fix 'em up.

No worries.

In all seriousness though, were I (or a loved one) riding a bicycle regularly on the road, I'd have one of those battery powered LED light thingys permanantly on front and rear. And would do regardless of this new law.
