I know, I understand. Good thing it rained down here last night. Roads are wet and slippery though.

I'm doing postgrad and working full time.

Done an indian 'anti' rain dance?

for what it's worth, I've had a couple of people tell me that it's only for today, there's a nice big high coming over this evening, so it *should* be in for the weekend. Lets hope I haven't jinxed it..

Ah yes, the rain started falling at the precise momnet my garage door went up. Funny 'bout that.

Not incredibly hard rain, but still enough to bring out the "omigoditsrainingsoicantgofasterthan50onthemotorway" brigade.

Met up with a bloke at the end of the Northwestern on a GS1200 who didn't have any gloves on. Musta been cold.

Oh, and my regular whine, whoever chose to use the extra special "teflon when wet" cats-eyes on the motorway was a dork.

On the bright side - you should be pleased that you were right! Always good to be right as I always say...

Go get a Go-cart suit... one piece, waterproof and cheap(ish).

Ooh shit. As a recent 'ex FXR 150 owner' I can sympathise with the fun you must have keeping the FXR pointing the right way in the rain. I got a larger back tyre for $119 and it made rainy days much less exciting

Not saying I can, but it looks to be shaping up to be a nice evening.

I have a prior engagement at a pub in L/Hutt so I'll be out that way anyhow. Anyone want to catch up?

You mat have noticed MDU, that we don't have the same abundance of nasty, vindictive women in Welly that the rest of the country seem to enjoy.

i can only think that the reason for this must be that the Welly blokes, are little bit better at pleasuring them....

You HAVE looked at the current government, public service and the local body politicians one presumes? I which case I suggest a visit to the nearest optician asap.... (could also explain your taste in motorcycles of course)

back to the topic!

Yes I booked my bike in for a service due to upcoming ride to Waikato Rally. YEP you guessed it - I managed to pick the only day of rain in friggin weeks. Well the peps at work had a damn good laugh at my gear hanging all round my office giving me grief about all the lovely weather and the only time I take the bike out during the week its raining... :cold:

Needless to say it made lane splitting rather fun as the roads were mighty greasy. Then coming home 30 knot damn winds. Oh well just like being on a KB rally I was waiting for the hail

Oh yeah, she's fun alright. Especially when the dude in front brakes hard and then you hit some large painted arrow or a man hole on top of it all.

Hey... Didn't I pass you coming down the gorge ? (Blue ZZR1100)

I got in to town to my usual bike park, saw there were NO PARKS and then the rain hit. Went from park to park till I finally found one down the other end of town... Leathers aren't waterproof :(

Sedge.
