    It's raining, it's pouring...

...and I have a 10am lecture and I have to be there.

Hmmmmm...what was I just thinking there other day? "I really should get some wet weather gear."
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

I know, I understand. Good thing it rained down here last night. Roads are wet and slippery though.

I'm doing postgrad and working full time.

Done an indian 'anti' rain dance?

Hmmm, seems like its a sign from the biker gods to get wet weather gear
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Or move to where the sun is.....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah I got caught on the way in... got up in Tawa... beautifull outside.... something made me wanna wear my thermals (thank you biker gods)..... .rode to Puk bay -still fine... picked up extra weight... ride to welly there was very light traffic so had a nice ride in... . down the gorge still fine, filter down most of the well motorway was watching the cloud over the city, just before aotea Quay it started Pissing down!! cars all around spraying the surface water and having to stop for serveral red lights once in the city ensured my leaky boots got soaked, crotch got frozen and the zip on my bag leaked enough to get my "dry" jeans wet....... I'd still rather ride to work than drive the cold just means I can enjoy this nice cup of tea even more...

for what it's worth, I've had a couple of people tell me that it's only for today, there's a nice big high coming over this evening, so it *should* be in for the weekend. Lets hope I haven't jinxed it..

Ah yes, the rain started falling at the precise momnet my garage door went up. Funny 'bout that.

Not incredibly hard rain, but still enough to bring out the "omigoditsrainingsoicantgofasterthan50onthemotorway" brigade.

Met up with a bloke at the end of the Northwestern on a GS1200 who didn't have any gloves on. Musta been cold.

Oh, and my regular whine, whoever chose to use the extra special "teflon when wet" cats-eyes on the motorway was a dork.

On the bright side - you should be pleased that you were right! Always good to be right as I always say...

Go get a Go-cart suit... one piece, waterproof and cheap(ish).
