I went along to the meeting last night for this weekends ride. It looks like there will be additional A loops and an A+ for good measure and a loop that takes in Karapoti Gorge - I'm looking forward to something different. Be there Sunday 9.00 am sign on or there abouts.:scooter:

COOOL. Bring it on. I agree that they need to vary it a bit but I'd be there regardless. Hope its a bit drier than last time too.

Looking forward to it, never been on a trial ride through there before other three weeks ago in the pouring rain down around the mountain bike loop. I'm praying for no rain after that one too!

awesome stuff Pete, cheers. Cool that they went through the gorge etc. Would be interested to see the track to get back to Totara park from the Karapoti carpark.

Ahhh all that riding 30 mins from Lambton Quay... Can't beat Wellington!

Cool pics Pete! I like how you put those pics from off your GPS (?)on there too - is cool to see exactly where the loops took us, and that pic of the guy coming up the hill in all the dust is awesome!
It was a great ride and thank goodness it was dry!

Pete, what a neat & interesting collection of photos that tell a story. Someone has an excellent eye for composition, some 1st rate images there. Really too many favourites to mention but I loved the bike hiding behind tree with 3 trail markers in the shot - it's art baby, but not as we know it ('Dust man' and 'Horse 'n gorse' was pretty cool too).

great day. Really enjoyed the open sections where there was forestry work going on - the 450 was the perfect bike to unleash there. Well orgnaised too, thanks to the KMMC team.

hell yeah, sure beats having to stop by the fishermans table and have a walk around to try and wake up after coming back from some of those hmcc rides.

you didn't get out with the camera?

no rain last week sure made the couple of greasy hills a lot easier than the ride a month before. but amazing just how damp and greasy that section still was, not much sun going on there.

cheers, i get better pics when my mates turn right and i turn left and the next time i see them they're on the lawn having a beer.

Hey Pete, you saw me at the gas station, I can see my truck on the edge of the second photo.

I probably should have opted for the trail ride as while playing around at the beach I managed to front flip my bike and concuss myself

Live and learn aye...:stupid:
