Ok next time you have a little mishap either on road or off road, and you require professional medical help tell them you fell off your Mountain Bike, Do not in any circumstances mention Motorcycle in any form.
There are going to be those incidents when you will not get away with this, ie when an Ambulance picks you up.
Hope fully ACC and the Government will see a major reduction in minor Motorcycle incidents and a rise in Push bike related accidents.

The Nicksta lists "mountain biking" (and kayaking ) as his recreations. No connection :innocent:.
In fact list ANY accident as occuring whilst mountain biking (unless it's drowing in the bath tub, in which case put down kayaking)

Hey :Oi: why pick on my sport??? ;) There are already doctors that have been trying to ban it for years. Pofta golf players.
What about those crazy chess players? Mad bunch of pricks them...personally I'm trying to bring them down. Wearing leathers to a chess game is perfectly acceptable.

ANOTHER TIP!
If an ambulance does pick you up tell them EVERYTHING hurts(even if it doesnt) so they xray everything! cause sometimes things hurt a few days after....and its a pain in the arse and wallet when you have to go back for more exrays and yadeyadeyah!

Mmmm motorbike leathers or ckai's chess player leathers.... that would be like wearing chaps (I am guessing here ;) ) with nothing underneath :)
or is that just leather in general.. tight firm body hugging leather????

Stupid. That'll get us another levy in car registration, which most of us would still have to pay.
Say "I was walking down the road and a member of parliament hit me on his way to work". Let THEM get levied!

Except that ACC is turning into a 'victim pays' system....only way for MPs to get levied is if they get run over on the way to work....

Working in Building today and was speaking to the manager. He asked me how my knee was (I had a wee op on saturday) then went on to say that he is recovering from a burn to his leg. I asked him ''how did that happen''? (I have heard a similar story before) and he said ''motorbike exhaust''....Fuck, did it get written up as a motorcycle accident?...''yes it did''...
I guess it was motorcycle accident, but possibly wouldnt have happened had he been wearing non shorts? Just add it to the stats please.

hmmm, that can be arranged! (just joking if any silly newpaper reporters read this!).
I like use of the term 'victim pays' its accurate with regard to this levy, and its obviously the wrong way to do things
