Does anyone know where to get reasonably priced plastics kits please? I've had a look on the net but havent had much luck so far. I'm looking for a black kit for a CRF150R (yes, I've finally gone and brought one, woohoo!)
Thanks!

Congrats on the new steed. How do you like it?

There are heaps of kits on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acerbis-Plastic-Kit-Honda-CRF150R-07-09-Black_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem255725d05dQQitemZ 160375885917QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Thanks for the link to ebay! - how they charge out the freight etc and do customs make us pay tax etc on getting things in from the states?

Bike shops can just order them in. We got 2 sets that way at different times. Local guys just went on computer found which places had them & got them sent up.

As for postage etc with ebay - we brought graphics off there & they just gave a postage price. Was nothing to pay when it arrived here. I think you may have to pay taxes if over certain value - i may be wrong though

If the GST component works out more than $50, then you pay it

Customs limit $400NZD incl freight anything over they add GST.
Do not use a business name or address they will add GST as well.

That box will be light so a wild guess $60USD freight.

So $100 + $60 + $160USD = $215-00NZD ROUGHLY landed.

Exchange site http://www.xe.com/
Good place to buy is http://www.btosports.com/c/Plastics
Bit dearer but they'll ship here!

If the NZ ones are within $50 or so I'd support the NZ trader/shop, so check pricing over here first!

Personally prefer to buy here, don't mind paying a premium, but hate being ripped!

That's a good price L Rider! I've tried the local dealer and they're getting up near $300. Maybe I should call Spectrum, lol!!

Damn shame those guys arent bring the kits in anymore Barty, $180 would've been sweet!

Thanks so much for the info guys!

bits4bikes do them for some models.
Edit: Just checked they only have them in red, for $224.85. Not a bad price, you could ask if they'd get you in a black one?

Worldwide MX is good, though it doesn't look like they do black for your bike only white or red. If you decide to go white I can recommend this site I've bought from them before and it's a complete kit number plates etc...

Of course better to keep our money local if you can find someone who'll do you a good deal
