Need to drop off my Gas Gas rear for a long overdue service. Is it better to drop off the whole bike or the shock by itself?
It will be going to Motomart, Wellington, but they are shut so can't ask. Just wondering if I should take the shock out over the weekend or juts load the whole bike into the van?
Cheers

Save yourself some labour and remove the shock yourself :niceone:

Sweet. That's what I was hoping. Just didn't know if they need they rest of the bike to service it.
Cheers

As you are there check & grease all the linkages, no point having a nice shock & crap links.
If its just a service then all cool & not wanting to talk any shop out of work, but if you decide you want to look at a revalve Linton at DAS in chch has a wealth of experience with GG as he rides them too.
Did a great job on both front & rear of my 200 which were set up with (for my riding style) too much high speed comp in the rear. In the front all models seem to have waay too much for NZ conditions & he has a nice setup that makes the front track over tree roots rather than bounce off them harshly.
