Minor incident outside motomail. No injury. Obvious explanation. Names have been changed to protect the innocent.

heh, accidents happen, bet the poor lady is hoping that she doesn't have to make an ACC claim... or she'll have to be tried as a witch

Call me stupid (actually don't that was rhetorical) but I can't figure it out. The only bikes I can see in the picture are the two police bikes. (Or is the picture not the accident itself but the diesel clean up - I can spy some absorbent on the road.)

Pic is clean up crew and police diversion around a huge Diesel spill at the base of College Hill.
It caused a minor off this morning. Pic is for the benefit of the off-er.
Shit happens.

I thought exactly the same thing! I got down to the bottom of the hill when I was leaving and went OMG! That's a big spill! Then I wondered if Wendy had come up that way and ended up with slippy-slidey tyres.
Last time I saw her she was enjoying a coffee in Ponsonby - I hope she logs in and sees this when she gets home.
Edit: actually that photo doesn't do justice to the spill. It was huge - all the way around the corner.

Yep - went to turn into the driveway and the back wheel tried to overtookened the front.

Seems like a pretty chronic spill.

Yes - It's also worth noting that due to the excellent safety gear she had on, a foot peg and a brake lever were the only casualties.
Front brake felt like it could do with a bleed too.
