Xmas Pac spur loop, BBQ JMJ's 6th Dec

Okies....
As its nearly xmas season...
on the first weekend of December im going to hold a lop riide and BBQ at my house after wards...
snags and a pool if your keen...:wacko:

ride will take in my famous pack spur matakoina castlepoint ride..

start time will need to be 10am caltex southend masterton.
and a good ole chin wag BBq afterwards at aprox 2.00 -2.30pm..:2thumbsup
wifes and partners are welcome.

at a guess between 10.30 and 11am....im looking to be at castle point by 12.30...pm.. most times ive done this ride theses times are about right..

as long as we get away just after 10am

so we look out for you at the pub okies..

The camera is on top of my helmet, it gets a bit of movement there. I think on the side might be the way to go.

The music was free off Youtube, the easiest way to get something that isn't going to infringe copyright and get deleted. There wasn't many options for the length of the movie.

Yep caught me by surprise that did, and as always it doesn't look anywhere near as steep on the camera as it is in real life.

Thanks Joe & family for a great day out. Arrived back in Wgtn a bit on the damp side - the weather packed a sad coming over the Rimutakas & got progressively worse as we neared Wellington. Got the first cool trickle into the unmentionables coming up the Ngauranga Gorge....:Oops:

1) The GSer's doing gate duty on Pack Spur while Pampera rides down the track
2) Andy Mac at the end of Pack Spur
3) The bikes at Joe's place
4) Food was consumed and lies were told
5) No one managed to get past KTM Security for a swim. It was a bit cold by then anyway.

A great days riding is only made better by riding with great friends.

Thanks to all riders and partners who came on my BBQ ride...

went of with out a hitch...

we rode the roads back to front...was a bit windy in places..i rode it 2 up, and the bike handled the 2 of us with out any hassles..

so ride started aprox 10.30am
we headed off to meet up with Gser at tinui..
then moved on to castle point..
as we do we .....i mean i...blasted down the beach....:lol:, passing paladin on the way...
we stopped for a break, cupper and take in the nice view..
after our stop we headed for matakiona and the pack spur.
was a tad windy on the beach front..
pack spur was a great little hill climb.. and a great blast down tinui valley road on the gravel..
BBQ went off like a treat,,,snags, steak,,,Mmmmmm
pool a bit chilly next time on that one...

it was great to see the guys bring there partners along for a ride..
may make this a bit of a thing...rides our partners can come on..
